The Parent and Child Group which meets Fridays (in term time) 1:45pm to 3.20 pm in the Church (while Memorial Hall renovations take place). Contact: David Davenport 734443. The Horticultural Association runs allotments in Blacksmith’s Lane and an annual show in September. Contact: Peter Jackson 732818. The Women’s Institute enjoys a varied range of activities on the 3rd Wednesday each month at 7.30 pm in the Church (while Memorial Hall renovations take place). Contact: Kay Marples 733134. The Well Dressing Association – works to raise funds for charity by the May time dressing of a well in Etwall, following the Derbyshire tradition. Support is needed to revive this ancient custom. Contact: Ann Hill 733930. The Egginton Men’s Club meets the last Monday each month over a pub lunch at varying venues.  Contact: Rainer Goldsmith 730358. The Jubilee Club was formed in 1977 for the over-60s.  It meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2.15 pm in the Church (while Memorial Hall renovations take place) where guest speakers talk on a variety of topics.  The club also runs monthly outings during March - October.
