Kind regards Brian Bucknall Name: DerekE-mail: fred.nurgler@btinternet.comCity: EtwallSent: 05/22/2011 12:05:22 pmAs a child my wife lived in the "nissen" huts opposite the school just after the the second world war. Any photos existing of these buildings? Name: David DavenportE-mail: davvyboy@hotmail.co.ukCity: LiverpoolCountry: U,KSent: 11/02/2010 11:11:15 amVery interesting web site. Fond memories of Egginton from my early childhood to date. Spent most of my summers in the village to the age of about 16 staying with my maternal grandparents Sid & Ada Wilcocks at School House. Many happy days spent helping out at Fernehhough's farm. Still in touch with Pete Ferneyhough. My Aunt Eva opened the shop and Post Office in School House following the closure of the village shop. She and Sam are living in Stretton I hope to be popping down to see them shortly. Will also visit St Wilfrid's to pay respects to family members buried there. My great grandad was Philip Robinson who lived at Park Hill Egginton until his death in 1931. His wife Annie died in 1938 and the house passed out of the family. I have gone back to the 1700's. I would like to get in touch with any descendents of Philip. My grandad was Charles, and he left the family home sometime around the turn of the century. We dont know the reason for his departure, as he never told his family anything about his past. We would very much like to get in touch with any great grandchildren of Philips. My name is Margaret Tiernan (nee Robinson), I live in Abergele north Wales. tel..01745 824987 and my address is Boderw St George Road Abergele LL22 7HB Name: Michael E EggintonE-mail: mikeandjeri52@msn.comCity: KaysvilleCountry: United StatesSent: 10/08/2009 08:10:04 pmIt's a great site.
