Name: margaret tiernan nee robinsonE-mail: margaret.tiernan@yahoo.co.ukCity: abergeleCountry: u.kSent: 01/27/2010 04:01:41 pmI hope you can help. I am researching my family. My great grandad was Philip Robinson who lived at Park Hill Egginton until his death in 1931. His wife Annie died in 1938 and the house passed out of the family. I have gone back to the 1700's. I would like to get in touch with any descendents of Philip. My grandad was Charles, and he left the family home sometime around the turn of the century. We dont know the reason for his departure, as he never told his family anything about his past. We would very much like to get in touch with any great grandchildren of Philips. My name is Margaret Tiernan (nee Robinson), I live in Abergele north Wales. tel..01745 824987 and my address is Boderw St George Road Abergele LL22 7HB Name: Michael E EggintonE-mail: mikeandjeri52@msn.comCity: KaysvilleCountry: United StatesSent: 10/08/2009 09:10:04 pmIt's a great site. Researching my family tree I discovered that my great-grandmother Emily Bertha Brown was born in Egginton in 1866 (to parents John Henry and Mary Ann Brown). Living in Australia it's very hard to visit ancestral haunts in the UK other than online, so your informative site is very useful. Hopefully, one day I shall visit in person ! Name: Bob EggintonE-mail: bobegginton@hotmail.co.ukCity: Whitehaven, CumbriaCountry: EnglandSent: 01/14/2009 08:01:57 pmI'd love to know if I have any connection to this village? Egginton is not a common name, I know we are the only Egginton in the Cumbria phone directory. We moved up here from the midlands some years ago but I do remember driving through your village, out of curiosity, many years ago when I was visiting Derby. Anyway, very good and informatiive website. Bob.
